Ventura Systems was the first to introduce the Plug Sliding door for city buses. Today, more than 30 years of experience in urban transportation have shaped its third generation.
The outward sliding movement creates a completely clear doorway, allowing passengers
to enter and exit the bus simultaneously for improved passenger flow. Because the door does not take up interior space, it also gives vehicle builders greater freedom in vehicle layout and interior design.
With the third generation, we created a lighter, slimmer, and smarter Plug Sliding door system while retaining its proven, superior sealing performance.
To meet the highest safety standards, international standard ISO 26262 became an integral part of our development process. Bringing greater focus to risk assessment by integrating redundancies and mitigation measures throughout the design of the door system.
The result is a fully electric door system with no pneumatic components, that is safer and more reliable than ever before.
