Retrospec: Bustec Forum 2024

EV Motors Japan F8 Series 4 (Electric Bus)

Ventura Systems Japan was present at the 2024 Bustec Forum in Osaka. It was a fantastic networking opportunity, featuring a wide range of electric buses to test, all in a beautiful location.

The Bustec Forum is an experiential event that brings together the latest bus technology at the Expo Memorial Park in Suita City, Osaka. As carbon neutrality becomes a major issue worldwide, the introduction of electric buses is conspicuous in various parts of Japan, and Bustec Forum featured a variety of buses, including both electric and diesel buses. The event showcases a complete range of hardware and software, including equipment and accessories that support the safe, comfortable and economical operation of buses.

At our stand we had the opportunity to meet many visitors and exhibitors and to present our innovative entrance solutions for the Japanese market. We were also pleased that we could showcase our innovative door systems on the vehicles being tested at the event. Highlights included EV Motors Japan’s 7 metre EV bus fitted with two Ventura Rapid Sliding door systems and Hankyu Bus’ 10.5 metre EV bus fitted with our Inward Gliding and Plug Sliding door systems. We also saw a BYD K8 electric bus from Princess Line fitted with our door systems.
