Ventura Systems is proud to support the latest phase of fleet renewal for Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) with the delivery of the first Zhongtong buses equipped with Ventura door systems. These vehicles form part of a wider procurement programme of 735 buses, reinforcing Dubai’s commitment to modern, efficient, and increasingly sustainable public transport.
Among the new fleet are Zhongtong electric buses, representing the largest electric bus deployment ever introduced in the UAE. Alongside electric vehicles, additional Zhongtong city buses and articulated buses meeting Euro 6 emissions standards will be delivered in the coming period, with the full programme scheduled for completion by 2026. Together, these buses will play a key role in expanding capacity while supporting Dubai’s long-term environmental and urban mobility objectives.
Ventura Systems’ involvement builds on a strong and long-standing presence in Dubai. Since 2008, Ventura door systems have been operating reliably across the city’s bus network, proven under demanding climate conditions and high daily utilization.
This new delivery is the result of close collaboration between Ventura Systems, the bus manufacturers, and Swaidan Trading Company, a subsidiary of Al Naboodah Group Enterprises, the official importer and service partner. Together, we continue to support safe, efficient passenger flows as Dubai’s public transport network moves into its next phase.
