Ventura Systems had a strong presence at Busworld 2025 in Brussels. Our booth attracted a steady flow of visitors, including customers, vehicle manufacturers, and industry professionals interested in our latest technologies and developments. Once again, the exhibition proved to be an important opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and share insights on the future of door systems for public transport.
Technology Lab
At the center of our stand was the Technology Lab, an interactive space where visitors could explore our newest innovations firsthand. Guided by product specialists, guests engaged with key topics such as functional safety, cybersecurity, and predictive maintenance through live demonstrations and discussions.
The lab was well received, drawing attention from both long-standing partners and new contacts. It provided an open environment for dialogue on technological progress and the challenges facing modern public transport systems.
Innovations
Several new and updated solutions were introduced during the event:
- Door adjustment using sensors (DAS) – A research project that employs sensors and machine learning to measure and refine door adjustment quality, ensuring smooth and reliable operation from the outset.
- Door Control Unit 2.0 – A next-generation platform combining enhanced functionality with improved cybersecurity and safety features, forming the foundation for future digital developments.
- Multifunctional button with integrated display – A redesigned concept offering new possibilities for passenger communication and movement, both inside and outside the vehicle.
- In addition, updates to the Inward Gliding “Lift” door system and the Slim Line door leaf concept highlighted continued progress in performance, design, and efficiency.
A visible presence throughout the exhibition
Beyond our own booth, Ventura door systems were prominently featured across the exhibition, installed on a wide range of buses from various manufacturers. It was a clear reminder of how widely our products are applied across markets and regions!
