Retrospec: Mobility Move 24
We look back on a successful first edition of Mobility Move, formerly known as ElekBu. The largest conference and trade fair for public road transport in Germany was held in Berlin from 6 to 7 March. The event was attended by 1,400 professionals and featured an exhibition area with 90 exhibitors and 20 electric vehicles, including Ventura Systems as a long-time contributor to the show.
The atmosphere at the show was very positive and forward looking. It was an excellent opportunity for us to talk to the market, share knowledge and showcase our latest innovations in door systems. It was also great to see so many zero emission vehicles with our door systems.
Ventura Systems Australia fortifies market leadership with NPW Services appointment and parts department expansion
Ventura Systems Australia has appointed Nigel Wilson of NPW Services as its in-house service and support partner for Australia and New Zealand, further expanding its market presence and customer satisfaction. Wolter Meijerhof, General Manager at Ventura explains: ‘we have been working with Nigel and his team for many years now and it was time to further strengthen our relationship. Nigel will be the main contact person for OEM’s and operators within Ventura for service, training and installation of our door systems. We are very pleased to be able to strengthen our service and support capabilities on a permanent basis with Nigel’s knowledge and experience.’

Office move for Ventura Systems Germany
In March 2002 we opened our German office in the centre of Fritzlar with the aim of supporting international bus manufacturers and transport companies in the region of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland. Since then our team has grown to include two Account Managers, a Product Manager, a Consultant and an R&D Engineer. To better accommodate the team and reduce travel time, the office has moved from Fritzlar to Kassel.
Retrospec: Busworld, APTA Expo & JMS
It has been a busy exhibition season this year, with three of the world’s largest mobility shows in the same month. After a big number of exhibitions were cancelled or postponed in recent years due to COVID, it was clear that for the first time it was possible to organise events of this scale.
