Ventura Systems was invited by Transport for London (TfL) to attend the official launch of the Bus Safety Standard 2 (BSS2) at the UTAC proving ground in Millbrook. This new standard represents a significant step forward in enhancing the safety of bus transport across London.
To support compliance with the updated requirements, Ventura Systems has developed an innovative rubber solution for its door systems. This component plays a crucial role in meeting the stricter safety criteria introduced under BSS2, particularly in relation to passenger protection and the safe operation of doors.
The launch event brought together key stakeholders from across the public transport sector, including operators, vehicle manufacturers and technology partners.
