Ventura Systems expands with new sales and service office in Japan
We have opened a new sales and service office in Kobe, Japan. This strengthens our local presence and enhances our ability to support bus manufacturers and Japanese operators in the transition to a modern, zero-emission bus fleet. With on-site service engineers and dedicated parts availability, we can provide fast and reliable support for our door systems.
Japan is moving decisively towards a carbon-neutral future. With a national target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 46% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, the country is reimagining its public transport infrastructure as a key driver of sustainable urban development.
Cities like Tokyo are leading this transformation, investing in zero-emission vehicles and committing to cleaner, smarter and safer mobility. Our door systems have supported this transition, for example in the Toyora Sora fuel cell bus.
Public transport, and buses in particular, play a central role in this transition. Safe, reliable and efficient door systems are essential to facilitate the journeys of the growing urban population. This is where Ventura Systems adds value. With 30 years of global experience, we understand the dynamics of passenger flows and the challenges faced by buses in urban environments. We use this insight to advise vehicle manufacturers and Japanese operators on door system configurations, tailored to the specific needs of Japanese cities.
We believe in empowering local markets through a strong global network. The new office in Japan is part of a wider network of sales and service offices backed by the expertise and resources of our global organisation. Our Japanese office is supported by our colleagues in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. This multi-tiered approach ensures that you can always find Ventura where the bus is built and where the bus operates.
